NRO verdict ‘golden chapter in country’s history
LAHORE, Dec 24: Pakistan Muslim League-N Chief Nawaz Sharif Thursday said the judiciary has added another golden chapter to the country’s history by giving bold verdicts on NRO and loan waiver beneficiaries.
In a statement on the occasion of Quad-e-Azam’s birth anniversary and Christmas, Nawaz Sharif said the nation has no other choice but to fearlessly stand for the truth and what is right.
“It is the government’s responsibility to ensure the supremacy of the Constitution and law through its implementation by not defending any wrongdoing or corrupt practice,” Nawaz Sharif stressed.
He said the nation will have to move ahead with the spirit of brotherhood and unity.
