ISLAMABAD: Expressing concern over the proposed Balochistan package, the PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif on Thursday called for a public debate on the package before tabling it in the National Assembly.

While talking to the media in Islamabad after meeting with Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani over the proposed package and other issues, the PML-N chief suggested that the package must be made in such a way that it is acceptable to the people of the province.

He held former president Pervez Musharraf responsible for creating unrest in Balochistan and the tribal areas.

Nawaz Sharif once again called for an end to the military operation in Balochistan and asked the government to withdraw cases against the Baloch leadership.— DawnNews
